Aquí te pongo la manera de configurar el {es:fsck} (“”file system consistency check“) de Linux, este es el que se encarga de buscar errores en algun sector del Disco Duro y lo arregla. Ahora si usas Ubuntu cada 3o veces que inicies el sistema este es el mesaje que veras ó usuarios como yo que llevamos meses usando Ubuntu vemos frecuentemente.

AutoFsck
Hay personas que quieren quitar este mensaje o configurarlo para que sea a la 50 ó 100 vez de iniciar la maquina, la cual ninguna de las 2 es recomendable. Una manera de no tener problemas al prender la computadora y ver este mensaje es usando “{es:AutoFsck}”
Este programa No elimina el chequeo solo lo cambia para cuando vallamos a apagar la maquina. El chequeo es necesario para proteger la integridad del sistema, por eso Ubuntu no recomienda eliminarlo. Pero te preguntaras por que entonces al apagar la maquina hace el chequeo, Cual es la Diferencia un lo va a hacer? Bueno la contestación depende de tu situacion en muchos casos necesitamos entrar a la maquina rapido y el chequeo se tarda y es obligado, no lo podemos brincar. Con “AutoFsck” lo damos cuando vamos a apagar la maquina que en muchas ocasiones no nos molesta dejarla un rato mas prendida y ella se paga sola. Ademas el nos pregunta si lo queremos hacer ahora, si no queremos el no nos obliga, la proxima vez que el sistema se inicie y valla a apagar nuevamente el nos va a preguntar.

Esto es avisándote cuanto te queda para el próximo chequeo se queda en el “System Tray” como un icono.
Aquí te pregunta si quieres forzar el chequeo en el próximo reboot.
