Como a mi se que hay muchos Ubuntureros que les gusta tener su Desktop limpio. Libre de Discos Virtuales o otras particiones tanto sea de Windows ó mismas particiones de Linux. Ahora te voy a enseñar un truco bien fácil y efectivo de eliminar estos discos (solo) de tu Desktop y poder añadir Iconos de tu “Home Folder” y el Zafacón “Trash”.
Así se podría ver tu Desktop con muchas particiones montadas:
Ahora lo primero que aremos sera abrir el “registry editor” de Ubuntu que se llama “gconf-editor” lo podemos llamar apretando “ALT+f2” debemos ver esto:
Ahí escribimos lo que aparece en la imagen “gconf-editor” luego de esto se abrirá una pantalla con un menú a la izquierda y navegamos entrando a estos folders:
“apps \ nautilus \ desktop”
una vez ahí veremos las opciones de Desktop simplemente quitamos la opción que dice “volumes_visible” le damos un click al check mark y listo.
Adicional a esto si deseas añadir el “Trash” a tu Desktop le das click en la opción donde dice “trash_icon_visible” y si queremos el Home Folder también podemos dar un click donde dice “home_icon_visible” listo! ya matamos 3 pajaros de 1 tiro!
